kahwin khronicles goes a-fleaing!

What do you do when you're a poor little bride-to-be saving for a wedding and every extra dollar and every extra cent earned means something and everything to you?

You sell off stuff that you no longer want or need at a flea market for a quick buck, because you know what they say - another (wo)man's junk is another (wo)man's treasure! And guess whooooo is organizing a flea market this weekend???

Teater Ekamatra! They're organizing a nice little festival called PASAR BYE (Goodbye Market) this weekend to bid farewell to their 'home' of 25 years - Telok Ayer Performing Arts Centre (TAPAC) - and my sisters and I will be participating in their flea market portion! We'll be selling our clothes, accessories and books at superrrrr cheap prices (most of them ranging from $3 to $10, with a few good pieces at max $15 each)

Details as follows:-

Date: 23 March 2013, Saturday
Time: 1.00pm to 10.00pm
Venue: Telok Ayer Performing Arts Centre (TAPAC), 182 Cecil Street #01-10 SG 069547
Directions: The nearest MRT station is Tanjong Pagar, Exit G. Parking is available near Amoy Street Food Centre.

Oh, and jangan risau dan jangan confused about any conflicting timings that you see - kindly note that the festival time has been changed from its previous timing from 3pm to 9pm to 1pm to 10pm, yo.

Come down to the festival this weekend kalau you all takde plans ok! Besides cheap cheap good good shopping, there will be other great stuff like open mic performances, screening of Teater Ekamatra’s past productions, art exhibitions and installations as well as interactive chalk mural and music room yang your children (untuk you all yang dah ada anak pinak!) can participate in and have fun! Or you can come and find me lurking around at one of the flea market booths (look for pink signboards!) and we can always sembang sembang pasal hal kahwin kahwing... how about that? :P

P.S. If you want a booth, they're going at $25 per pop! CHEAP CHEAP.
