Looks like the future of local Malay wedding decor is finally starting to pick up some goddamn momentum. I am seriously loving the direction local Malay weddings are heading towards and I really can't wait to see how local Malay weddings will start to look like in the next year or so!

Note: I don't know who the decorator is for the first wedding (Edit: Now confirmed to be FM Events!), second and third weddings were DIY-ed by the pengantins, whereas I have reason to believe that the concept for the fourth wedding was executed by the same creative people who did Helmindra and Fizah's wedding (Edit: Or maybe not, judging from the comments below)

  1. My friend was invited to the fourth wedding and omg even their wedding cards also geometry inspired sey! Simple with those geometry shapes you see on the pelamin. If I'm not wrong a friend of the couple did the decor. :)

    2. Ohhh.. Not h+f of Alchemy actually but another friend who's trying out doing decor. :D Maybe they're all a bunch of friends who got inspired by the geometries haha. Ya H of alchemy is doing their video though.

  3. Hey thanks for featuring our wedding here. Haha I'm the bride of the geometric wedding (4th pic). Just to clarify, alchemy did not do our wedding decor (although they are really good friends of ours!). My husband and I came up with the geometric concept and we worked closely with one of our friend, Nazrie, to come up with the decor. It was built by him, as you can see in the wedding video done by apparatustv (also close friends of ours). And with help from a few friends, we did the set up of the decor at the venue by ourselves. My husband and I are lucky to have talented and helpful friends :)
